So first I tried finding self-love through more outside sources like working out, prescription drugs, and losing more weight. None of that worked, and I was more miserable than ever. I even tried finding love through outside sources like friends, my Instagram likes, or validation from others, but that just plain sucked.
Then, in 2015 I tried therapy for the first time ever, not just therapy but hypnotherapy. Healing myself through that one session worked a little bit. And that's when I finally tried yoga, meditation, and self-love exercises EVERY SINGLE DAY. And guess what? It worked!
And that's when I realized I was failing because the real enemy here was me listening to my own false beliefs and outside sources...no wonder I was struggling!
After years of suffering and working and learning and building, I realized that self-love required everyday work! That it's not just about working out or therapy. It's about HEALING YOURSELF. Finding that creator. Little things every single day that keep you present. That's when I started to understand how to TRULY LOVE MYSELF and feel at home in my body.
